When Part Quality Isn’t, It’s All Hands On Board

Not every launch plan goes without incident. Non-conformances are all too common. Improper assembly happens, particularly in the chaos of a new model launch. Vehicle updates and yard actions can be common place. We provide the assets to contain such actions and to help support new model launch for automotive programs. Besides self-performing we have partnered with PTI-Quality Containment Solutions as their authorized representative. PTI has helped us expand our footprint. We inspect, we sort, we contain. We have been doing it for a long time. But that is not all we do.

With PTI we also provide safe launch services and support including Controlled Shipping, Supply Chain Certification, Components Certification and Rework, Vehicle Validation and quality representation during production and product launch predominantly focused on the automotive industry (U.S., Mexico, and Brazil).

PTI is currently servicing industry leaders GM, Ford, FCA, VW, Bosch, AAM, Continental, Plastic Omnium, Rassini, Lear, Delphi, Dana, Metia, SG Auto, Benteler (among others) in all cases providing them with products as Tier 1 or Tier 2 being respnsible of planning and execution for logistic functions and launch support.

We have operations globally currently supplying products to GM, Chrysler, Ford, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, hyundai, VW, BMW, Daimler Benz and Kia in US, Mexico, Brazil and Australia to their assembly plants and sevice parts operations, PTI is a value added supplier for the assembly, packaging, kitting and distribution of several components.

Futhermore PTI-QCS is a preferred ESEP and launch supplier for FCA Mexico (toluca AP & Satillo AP), GM Mexico (silao PT & Assy, Toluca PT and Foundry, Ramos PT & Assy) among others supporting GM quality inbound operations. We have supported several vehicle launches at the assembly plants including the Cadillac SRX and Chevrolet Cruze.

PTI QCS is the selected launch support partner for GM Lordstown Plant, participating actively in the cerification, validation and rework of components for the Cruze, from 200 to 1,24- vehicles per day during their three month ramp up.
